Braking
strength is obtained by forming friction after compressing pads on both sides
of disks rotating together with the vehicle wheels. The main parts comprise of
the disk rotating together with the wheel hub, the pads forming friction and
attached to the disk, the wheel cylinder acting as the hydraulic pressure, and
the caliper within the wheel cylinder.
